About Superinsight

We got buried in our own medical records. So we built this.

One of us was wounded by a suicide bomb in Iraq and spent years inside the VA claims process. The other spent three weeks in an ICU and came out unable to make sense of the paperwork his own treatment generated. Superinsight is the tool neither of us had: a chronology that quotes the record and tells you what page it came from.

Founding story

Two people, the same problem from opposite directions

Luke is a military veteran who was injured in a suicide bomb attack while serving in Iraq. Navigating the VA disability claims process afterward showed him how a majority of the delay is not medical or legal at all; it's simply just somebody trying to find one line in a file nobody has fully read. For a veteran waiting on a decision, that is not an inefficiency. It is months.

Nelson's version started with a near-death experience and three weeks in an ICU, followed by a recovery during which he could not manage daily activities. The volume of documentation his own treatment produced, and the difficulty of organizing it for claims and continuing care, turned out to be the same problem seen from the patient's side of the chart.

Neither experience was unusual. That was the point. The same bottleneck shows up in disability claims, personal injury cases, and medical evaluations, and in every one of them the cost lands on the person waiting. We built Superinsight so attorneys and physicians can get through records faster and take on more of the people who need them.

The chronology has to be checkable. If you cannot put your finger on the page a line came from, it is not evidence but rather a summary you are hoping is right.

The principle the product is built on

Our approach

Three commitments that shape what we will and will not build

No outside human reads the file

Records are processed by AI on HIPAA-compliant infrastructure. Not our staff, not contractors, not a third-party review team. Your own attorneys verify the output against the citations, which is the only review the work actually needs.

We do not train on your data

Client records are used in the context of that case and nowhere else. A model that improves by absorbing your clients' charts is not a tool you can hand a privileged file to.

Every line carries its source

Findings quote the language the chart used and cite the exhibit and page. A fluent summary that drifts from the record is worse than no summary, because it reads like something you can rely on.

Where we come from

Five decades of matching experts to cases

Superinsight's expert-referral practice has been connecting attorneys with medical experts for more than fifty years. That history is why the platform is built the way it is: we have watched a very large number of cases turn on whether somebody found the right line in the chart in time, and we know what a chronology has to contain before an expert will work from it.

We have also been covered by CIO Applications and other legal technology press, work closely with AWS, and build on frontier AI models rather than maintaining our own from scratch. Details are in the newsroom.
